The Pasha’s ancestors had fought in the vanguard of the Ottoman invasion of the Greek islands and mainland well over two hundred years earlier and, for that, he would be forever grateful.

Sometimes, weary of the peaches and cream exotica imported from raids on foggy, distant, northern lands, the Pasha’s insatiable appetite expressed itself with cravings of a different sort. Fresh, tanned, salty…dark meat!! Luckily, there was a near-endless supply of handsome young Greek fishermen close…at hand.
