The Contemporary Art of Manflesh

Hi Guys,

Manflesh has sent us this sample layout from his current project, “South of the River.” It is an amazing example of the art of the story illustrator of which he is such a master. –Aquadude

NOTE from Manflesh: “It was from a diagram from a reconstructed Roman one. But it worked out it would not work. I had to put a gap in the beam between the two great cog wheels so the large wooden pins could turn and thus pull up the buckets! The top set of pins are on springs and thus the wheel turns as they are hit by those on the flat wheel.”
